The Project

Proudly Inuit-owned, Kitikmeot Corporation (KC) connects businesses to the North and provides new growth opportunities in the Kitikmeot region of Nunavut. KEEN refreshed and refined Kitikmeot Corp’s brand messaging and visuals to clearly communicate both their positioning and value. We built a custom website and developed a LinkedIn strategy; this established their professional online presence and generated new leads for businesses looking to expand North.

With nearly 30 years of successful business, Kitikmeot Corp (KC) was looking to prioritize and modernize their marketing efforts.When initially connecting with KEEN, KC’s goal was to update their current website. In preparation for the custom site, our team conducted a complete brand audit — recommending that KC refresh their visual identity to increase brand equity and support future growth. We kept Kitikmeot Corp’s goals and culture in mind as we refreshed their original muskox logo, which represents community, strength, and Arctic grit. The forward-propelling motion in their new logo is a nod to Kitikmeot Corp’s drive and passion. Integrating Kitikmeot Corp’s new brand strategy across multiple digital applications — such as their website and social media — allowed them to generate brand awareness while establishing an online presence. We utilized partner profiles and blogs to highlight the opportunities of expanding North, while also highlighting community impact. As part of the LinkedIn strategy, we educated KC’s audience on Northern opportunities and highlighted their successful endeavors to drive web traffic and generate quality leads.
